Park for cheaper when you go shopping in The Hague
Are you planning on shopping in The Hague? Then you have the choice. The Hague has several shopping areas full of cosy streets and numerous boutiques.
Park for free when you go shopping – City Center
In the centre of The Hague, you can go shopping in Grote Marktstraat or De Passage!
Unfortunately, these streets are in a restricted parking zone or in a red parking zone, the most expensive paying parking zone in town. Fortunately, there are cheaper alternatives not far away.
At 5 minutes walking distance, you can park cheaper in the Prinsegracht.
A bit further away, there is another parking alternative that is even cheaper, in the Stationsweg (10 minutes walking distance).
Park for free when you go shopping – Zeeheldenkwartier
Are you going shopping in the Piet Heinstraat in Zeeheldenkwartier?
A free parking area (green parking zone = free and unlimited parking) exists at 30 minutes walking distance in the Sportlaan.
You can also reach Zeeheldenkwartier by public transport if it is too far for you.
Park for free when you go shopping – Keizerstraat
There is a free parking zone (green parking zone) at 20 minutes walking distance near the Van Lennepweg.
Do you want to park closer to the road? Then there is an orange parking zone nearby (10 minutes walk) in the Scheveningseweg.
Park for free close to the Central Station of the Hague
The Central Station of The Hague is located in the city center.
Cheaper parking is possible around theHillebrant Jacobsplein, as long as it is only for 1 or 2 hours, otherwise it will become very expensive to park there as well.
If you want to park for free close to the Station, there is a green parking zone in Het Kleine Loo. It's about 30 minutes walking from the station or 10 minutes with public transport.
A green zone means you can park there for free without time limitation.
