Parking rules and prices in Lille

Lille is one of the big French cities. Like in all the big cities, parking can be expensive and annoying. By choosing your parking spot adequately it is possible to pay less and even to park for free.

In Lille there are 7 different parking zones. Here you will find the rules, prices and schedules for each parking zone. You will also find an interactive map to find the best and cheapest parking spots.

Red Zone
  • Drop off: 20 min free
  • Pricing: 3€ (1h)
  • Maximum 1h of parking
  • Everyday from 7am to 10pm
  • In red dotted zones, Maximum 30 min of parking (Free)
Orange Zone
  • Paid parking
  • Pricing: 2€ (1h), 4€ (2h), 9€ (3h), 13€ (4h), 17€ (5h)
  • Maximum 5h of parking
  • Monday to Saturday - 9am to 7pm
  • Free on Sundays and public holidays
  • In orange dotted zones,resident tarif is not applicable
Yellow Zone
  • Paid parking
  • Pricing: 1€ (1h), 2€ (2h), 3€ (3h), 8€ (4h), 17€ (5h)
  • Maximum of 5h of parking
  • Monday to Saturday - 9am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 7pm
  • Free on Sundays and public holidays
Blue Zone
  • Free Parking
  • Blue parking disc mandatory
  • Maximum 1h30 of parking
  • In Lomme:
    - Monday to Friday - 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm
    - In blue dotted zones, same rules on saturdays
    - Excepted on Sundays and public holidays
  • In Hellemmes:
    - Monday to Friday - 8am to 6pm
    - Saturday - 8am to 2pm
    - Except on Sundays and public holidays
Dark Blue Zone
  • Free Parking
  • Blue parking disc mandatory
  • Maximum 3h of parking
  • Monday to Saturday - 9am to 6pm
  • Except on Sundays and public holidays
Green Zone
  • Free parking without time limit
Black Zone
  • Pedestrian area, parking forbidden without exemption
  • Black dotted zones: no parking allowed
Residents
  • Red and orange dotted zones : same regulation as for non-residents
  • Orange and yellow zones:
    - Short term (at the parking meter): 0,1€ (30mn), 0,2€ (1h), 0,4€ (2h)
    - Long term: 1€/demi jour, 2€/jour, 8€/semaine, 25€/mois
  • Blue zones: free resident card, max 2 per household
Disabled person
  • Free parking
Ticket
  • Blue zone: 35€
  • Orange and yellow zone: 17€/5h
  • If you exceed your parking time, the amount already paid will be deducted from the parking ticket (FPS)
