Parking rules and prices in Blankenberge

Blankenberge is one of the big cities in Flanders at the coast. Like in all the big cities, parking can be expensive and annoying. By choosing your parking spot adequately it is possible to pay less and even to park for free.

In Blankenberge there are 5 different parking zones. Here you will find the rules, prices and schedules for each parking zone. You will also find an interactive map to find the best and cheapest parking spots.

Red Zone
  • Paid parking
  • Pricing: 1.5€ (1h)
  • Maximum 1h of parking
  • From 9am to 7pm – Saturday, Sunday, holidays and school vacation
Orange Zone
  • Paid parking: 10min free (with ticket)
  • Pricing: 1.5€ per hour
  • Maximum 10h of parking
  • From 9am to 7pm – Saturday, Sunday, holidays and school vacation
Blue Zone
  • Parking disc mandatory
  • Maximum 1h of parking
  • 7.30am to 6pm - Monday to Sunday
  • In dotted blue zones - max 1h - from 9am to 6pm – Saturday, Sunday, holidays and school vacation
Green Zone
  • Free parking without time limit
Black Zone
  • Pedestrian area, parking forbidden without exemption
Purple Zone
  • Parking reserved to residents. Parking card mandatory
Disabled person
  • Free and without time limit
  • 15€ per half-day
  • 5O€ in areas reserved to residents
